Explore Oyster Bay

Step aboard and discover the beauty of Oyster Bay and Cold Spring Harbor aboard Tartan. Embark on a captivating 2-hour maritime expedition that blends education, exploration, and citizen science.

Each expedition is limited to six passengers, offering an intimate experience for all ages and levels of boating expertise. These educational outings not only provide a chance to relax and explore but also support vital citizen science initiatives. Borrow a pair of our binoculars and learn to identify the diverse bird species that call the bay home.

Our professional and incredibly knowledgable crew is dedicated to ensuring your comfort, safety, and enjoyment. Bottled water is included, and you're welcome to bring a light picnic to enjoy during your journey.

Expeditions depart from Oyster Bay Marine Center, located at 5 Bay Ave Oyster Bay, NY 11771. As Tartan is located on a mooring, you will board a launch to reach the vessel.
