Sail Chicane
Chicane is the boat that started it all!
CIBS first expeditions took place aboard Chicane the summer of 2023.
2026 marks an extraordinary milestone for Chicane. Built in 1926, this year is her centennial.
This year, Chicane will be proudly representing the CI Bird Sanctuary and the Stirling Harbor Foundation in the 2026 WoodenBoat Show at the Mystic Seaport Museum.
To mark the occasion, we hope to run special birding charters aboard her in the days surrounding the festival, offering a chance to explore the coastal birds of the Northeast from the deck of a 100-year-old sailboat.
We hope to see you there, and hope you’ll join us aboard Chicane as we celebrate 100 years under sail.
