CI Bird Sanctuary
We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a commitment to preserving critical habitats for migratory birds. Our mission extends beyond just safeguarding these animals – it's about fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for avian conservation through education.
Our sanctuary offers a truly unique experience. We operate on the water, providing guided birdwatching tours aboard sailing and motor vessels that explore the waters of Long Island. Beyond these excursions, we lead land-based educational programs and workshops designed to inspire and connect younger generations with their local birdlife.
We hope to share the beauty (and love) of birding with you! Join us on our expeditions and in our programs to engage in citizen science, deepen your connection with nature, and become a better birder.
