Amazing Adaptations: Exploring How Birds Survive
Discover the incredible ways birds are built to thrive! In this hands-on program, students explore bird adaptations—from sharp talons to specialized feathers—and learn how these features help birds survive in the wild. Through interactive activities and close-up observations, students see science in action and gain a deeper understanding of the amazing strategies birds use to survive in their specialized habitats.

The goal of the Amazing Adaptations program is to help students understand how birds survive and thrive through their unique physical and behavioral adaptations.
Programming Logistics

Each classroom session lasts 1.5–2 hours and includes hands-on activities tailored to each age group and class size. Students get to explore a series of bird bioartifacts that complement each lesson. We provide all materials needed for a fully engaging experience.
